About the Game Time text messages
Game Time helps private groups fill a limited number of seats at recurring events. If someone invited you to their group, these are the texts you will get and how to turn them off.
Who sends the messages
Game Time is operated by Matmon. Messages come from our toll-free number, and every one of them starts with “Game Time” so you always know who is texting.
How people opt in
There is no way to receive Game Time texts without asking for them. A host sends an invite link from their own phone to someone they already know. That link opens a web form where the person enters their name and mobile number and checks a box agreeing to the texts. Nothing is sent until they then confirm a code we text to that number, which is how we know the number belongs to the person filling in the form.
This is the form, exactly as it appears. The consent box is never pre-checked, and agreeing to the texts is the only thing it does.

How to stop the messages
Reply STOP to any Game Time message. We will send one last text confirming it, and then nothing further. Reply START if you change your mind. Reply HELP any time and we will point you in the right direction, or email support@matmon.com.
